Hand-spun by Norlha, CH, c. 2025.
An exclusive design by Jade Grain, the Nomad Net Throw is rendered here in Monk Red—a deep, earthen hue inspired by the robes seen across the Tibetan Plateau. Lighter and more open in weave than the Classic Throw, it’s made from 100% natural white yak khullu and finished with softly handspun thread accents that trace the top and bottom edges. Airy in weight yet grounded in tone, offering warmth in its most elemental form.
Artisan-led and deeply rooted in the Tibetan Plateau, Norlha preserves a living tradition of nomadic craft. Each piece begins with yak khullu, hand-gathered each spring, and is shaped through slow processes—spinning, weaving, and finishing—by former herders who have become master artisans. The studio, founded in 2007 in Ritoma village, exists not to replicate heritage, but to carry it forward through thoughtful practice and generational skill.
