In this eloquent teapot, Xifang Zhou transforms the natural form of bamboo into functional art. Crafted from Yixing zi‑sha porcelain in the high tradition of the region, the vessel reflects a biomimetic philosophy—its slender profile, tapered spout and handle echo the jointed segments of bamboo, forming a quiet harmony between shape and source. A minor chip on the lid’s rim is noted and does not interrupt the piece’s balance or tea‑brewing purpose.
